About Boric Acid
Boric Acid is a white, odorless crystalline solid that is weakly acidic and highly versatile. It is most commonly supplied in granular or powdered form and is soluble in water, making it easy to use across a range of applications.
Boric Acid is widely used as a flame retardant, pH buffer, antiseptic, and preservative. In high-purity grades, it plays a key role in the production of fiberglass, advanced ceramics, nuclear-grade applications, and specialty glass. It's also critical in electronics and the formulation of electroplating baths, as well as in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics where stringent purity is essential. In agriculture, it serves as a boron source for micronutrient fertilizers.
